Karachi: Bahria Town Karachi organized an array of activities this Independence Day. The celebrations started with a flag hoisting ceremony at the world’s tallest obelisk flag pole at 8:30 in the morning, which set the festivities of the day in motion. The celebratory day also began with Flag hoisting ceremony at 160 feet tall flag pole in Bahria Town Islamabad.
Buildings, parks, mosques, monuments were decorated and illuminated with green fairy lights and flags all over Bahria Town Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Flag march, band drill march past performances were presented to the guests at flag pole. Grand evening celebrations at flag pole also featured a dynamic light show.
A huge crowd turned up at DanZoo to enjoy special UV light performance, Exotic animals and musical shows. DanZoo is home to exotic animals from around the world such as white lions, leopards, black Jaguar, African Monkeys, zebras, giraffes and many more.
Rendezvous Club in Bahria Town Karachi arranged Azaadi Brunch where many enjoyed brunch at special Azaadi discount. Bahria Town Karachi recently inaugurated Chirpy Park, a unique aviary of exotic birds where visitors experience bird in close range and enjoyed exotic bird show.
Bahria Dancing Fountains also celebrated flag hoisting ceremony where children performed tableaus. Along with amazing dancing fountain shows, the live singing, piano and drum performances were also part of the celebrations. Eiffel Tower boosted a dynamic light show at Eiffel Tower along with magical and musical shows.
Lit by green and white lights, Bahria Adventure land theme park, received a large number of visitors who enjoyed thrilling rides and hung out at International food chains.
Another highlight of Independence Day celebrations is the Folk and cultural performances and live musical show at the Carnival. Special life size cartoon characters entertained the children. Flavorsome food at leading local and international food outlets at the Carnival added to the joy of this special national event. Double Decker Bus Tours also received a huge crowd and ran a number of fully booked tours around Bahria Town Karachi.
Bahria Town has a tradition of organizing spectacular events at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad to celebrate every occasion and this year too, it succeeded in keeping up with its promise.
