Lahore: Bahria Town International Hospital is successfully performing Liver Transplant surgeries for adult and pediatric patients with our team led by Dr. Faisal Hanif, Prof. Huma Arshad Cheema, Dr. Afzal Bhatti, Dr. Major General (R) Iftikhar Ahmad, Dr. Saqib Saleem, Dr. Ahmad Raza, and Dr. Shazia Asim with results comparable to international standards. In the new year our most recent liver transplants are a 11-year-old boy, whose Mother donated part of his liver and a 28-year-old adult, whose brother donated part of his liver. Both patients and their donors are now recovering after a successful operation.
Moreover, our team performs complex cancer surgeries for the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas and provides comprehensive care for those patients.
These facilities are being provided under the leadership of Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz Hussain and President Amber Shehzad Malik. Chairman Bahria Town, Malik Riaz Hussain has a mission to provide this treatment to every child. 11 years old boy has been sponsored by Malik Riaz Hussain and given free treatment.
